Configuring Hotmail or Outlook account with Windows Live Mail 2009

To set up your Outlook or Hotmail account with Windows Live Mail 2009:

1. Open up the application for Windows Live Mail 2009.


2. Click on Mail option, in the lower left corner, and then click on Add e-mail account.


3. Type in your Hotmail or Outlook email address, password, and display name, and then click on Next.


4. Select HTTP server, In the drop down next to My incoming mail server is a, and then click on Next.


5. And then Click on Finish.
