Configuring Hotmail or Outlook account with Android Smart Phone

1. With your Android device, search for Outlook in Google Play or Download the Microsoft Outlook app.


2. Tap Get Started, after the install.


3. Next, select the account that you like to add.


4. Once you are signed in to the account, the Microsoft Outlook app will begin to sync with your account.


Note:- If you don’t want to install app, or unable to use it for some reasons, you can still set up Outlook or Hotmail account on your Android device. Here is how: 


5. Tap Email, and then tap Add account, on your android device.


6. Tap Manual setup after entering your Outlook or Hotmail email address and password.


7. Tap Exchange under What type of account is this?


8. Keep the Domain field empty, if there is any. Enter your email address if there is any Username field.


9. Then enter your password in the password field.


10. In the Server name field, enter s.outlook.com.


11. Make sure the Use secure connection (SSL) checkbox is checked, then tap Next.


12. Choose your account options and tap Next.


13. Tap Done to finish the setup.
